skyrim is a very /late/ game Anonymous 01/14/2021 (Thu) 07:42:41 No. 2303
just started playing this game (i'm a patient gamer lol) and god it's so good. i might play with some mods too later but yeah good game
>>2303 it looks fun for sure, i think the offputting part to me was the emphasis on modding, to the point where 90% of skyrim stuff i've seen looks like something out of gmod. that and i had a dizzying experience playing it with a psvr.
like many games im too poor to afford games like this and don't have the pc to run it
>>2319 if you can find $50 i'd totally pick up a used Xbox 360 and a copy of the game, hours of fun
>>2321 >a used Xbox 360 Can you even mod the game on the Xbox? I suggest taking those 50 and buying Special Edition on the pc, the mods make it practically a new game, or several new games if you're up to it.
>>2326 i said 50 cause you can get a used xbox and copy of the game, but you'd have to spend like at least $200 to get a PC to run it
>>2330 Hadn't thought about it that way. With 50 bucks you could get an Xbox and Skyrim to play in it, a PC is going to cost a bit more than that.
What a coincidence, I just got my boyfriend playing it too. I can watch him play ultra modded Skyrim. Over 200 mods. It's a shitshow, but fun. I haven't played it in many years, but last time I had just some things to give it darker lighting and make torches do stuff, some new spells, and various visual improvements. Blood cannibalism too. I played mostly a goody-two-shoes young imperial with heavy armor, sword, and shield, and using some restoration magic. Basic stuff, but good. Commit no crimes and never deny a plea for mercy, that was my personal rule. Also didn't use sneaking. While my bf's playthrough has lots of stupid stuff in it, he did find mods I'd use on my own some time. The mod that gives hima ton of more interesting necromancy perks also has totally overhauled perks for armor and weapons. I'd like to go for a different paladin character again, or maybe the opposite and do a cannibal ranger that crafts things with human parts. Not likely to play myself any time soon, but it's a thought.
